Confusing Lua error

I get this error:
[ERROR] Lua is unable to understand file “darkrp_customthings/jobs.lua” because its author made a mistake around line number 364.
The best help I can give you is this:

Right before the ‘or’, Lua encountered something it could not make sense of.

  • Did you forget something here? (Perhaps a closing bracket)
  • Is it a typo?

------- End of Simplerr error -------

My jobs file at that place looks like this:

TEAM_PROTHIEF = DarkRP.createJob(“Pro Thief”, {
color = Color(7, 127, 179, 255),
model = {“models/player/arctic.mdl”},
description = [[Steal for a living.]],
weapons = {“m9k_deagle”, “m9k_knife”, “prokeypadcracker”, “climb_swep2”, “lockpick”, “swep_pickpocket”},
command = “prothief”,
max = 3,
salary = 55,
admin = 0,
vote = false,
hasLicense = false,
candemote = true,
category = “VIP”,
customCheck = function(ply) return CLIENT or table.HasValue({“vip”, “premium”, “owner”, “superadmin”, “admin”}, ply:GetNWString(“usergroup”)) end,
CustomCheckFailMsg = “This job is for Donators only!”

You don’t need to return the client… So completely remove “CLIENT or” from the customCheck function.

It didn’t fix the error. Would you like to see my jobs.lua file?

Now I get this error:

[ERROR] addons/darkrpmodification-master/lua/darkrp_customthings/jobs.lua:596: ‘}’ expected (to close ‘{’ at line 584) near ‘customCheck’

  1. unknown - addons/darkrpmodification-master/lua/darkrp_customthings/jobs.lua:0

This is the code:

TEAM_TERRORIST = DarkRP.createJob("Terrorist", {
    color = Color(0, 0, 0, 0),
    model = "models/player/kuma/taliban_grunt.mdl",
    description = [[You may kill police until you die. YOU MUST DO /ADVERT TERROR!]],
    weapons = {"m9k_ak47"},
    command = "terrorist",
    max = 4,
    admin = 0,
    salary = 90,
    vote = false,
    hasLicense = false,
	category = "VIP",
	customCheck = function(ply) return table.HasValue({"vip", "premium", "owner", "superadmin", "admin"}, ply:GetNWString("usergroup")) end,
	CustomCheckFailMsg = "This job is for Donators only!"

Can you post the entire job file?

Fixed. I forgot a shit load of commas. Thanks for the consideration. :nope:
