I have looked around a while and I can’t seem to find a straight answer. I want to be able to convert some Gmod 3D objects into a normal file format that would be compatible with 3dsMax. Help me out, brethren!

With this program you can get .mdl files from gmod archives/addons. The .mdl files have to be decompiled into .smd files, and the .smd files can then be imported using SMD plugins for your version of 3ds max.
Use google to find SMD importers and .mdl decompilers…
Noesis is one of the best converters i have found , i use it for most files . For Gmod to 3dmax convert mdl to psk use actorx importer for models ith bones , or convert to fbx , or obj.
