Converting stuff from Burnout 1 and Burnout 2: Point of Impact

So I decided “Why not just convert cars and tracks from Burnout 1 and 2?” and so I put the Burnout 2 game disc into my computer. I went to the right folder for the cars, but I don’t know how to open the files, and if they are the car models. Does anyone know how to open .RCF .RCX and .RWS files? (Not sure if this is the right place to ask for help)

Those /sound/ engine-specific, any idea what engine that uses?

I don’t really understand what do you mean by engine, but they’re both old games, and it shows Acclaim when starting up the game.

Apparently it uses the Renderware game engine, which as far as I know, nobody has ported from that engine before

More specifically, the earlier Renderware builds, not the .DFF stuff Grand Theft Auto uses.
