Hello, I just bought Garry’s Mod and Portal yesterday, and it crashes upon loading! (Both of them)
I tried everything I could that was in the garrysmod.com FAQ. I paid $30, and I want to play these games!
I have an Intel® Core 2 Processor chip and an Intel graphics card. I use an iMac running Bootcamp, Windows XP.
Seriously, I want to play Garry’s Mod! D:

Here’s the exact error: The instruction at “0x00010103” referenced memory at “0x09e71484”. The memory could not be “written”.
Click on OK to terminate the program
I’m stumped! D:

Is it an e-mail or what?
I’ve already checked out the support topics already.
Personally, I think since, instead of it being “read,” it can’t be “written,” I think that maybe changing the folders off of Read-Only will work. However, when I try it, even after I apply it, it reverts back! Can anyone explain that?
