creating an NPC entity

I am using ents.Create to create an NPC entity, and I have two questions.

  1. How can I stop it from moving? v:Freeze() does not work.
  2. How can I set it’s model? SetModel(“models/Humans/Group03m/Female_02.mdl”) is not working either.
  1. In the entities init.lua file, add this under ENT:Initialize():
    [lua]self:SetMoveType( MOVETYPE_NONE )[/lua]
  2. To set it’s model, go in the entities init.lua once again, and add this under ENT:Initialize():
    [lua]self:SetModel( “model_path” )[/lua]

To get the model you want, the path is this:


models/player/Group01/Female_02.mdl

or


models/player/Group03/Female_02.mdl

so to set it’s model, go in the entities init.lua, and add this under ENT:Initialize():
[lua]self:SetModel( “models/player/Group01/Female_02.mdl” )[/lua]
