Creating env_fire

well i want to know how to create env_fire i know to use ents.Create() and Spawn() but not really how to get it to show up.

For documentation about builtin entities, always search the VDC.

well thats more for mapping i ment like how would i create one with lua in gmod

ents.Create().

Then you use the inputs and keyvalues specified on that page.

We’ll i don’t quite understand what you mean i tried doing something like this [lua]
fire = ents.Create(“env_fire”)
fire:startDisabled(false)
fire:health(60)
fire:firesize(60)
fire:Spawn()
[/lua]
and no luck = (

**[Entity.SetKeyValue

And for inputs :
**[Entity.Fire

Note that flags are keyvalues too.

This page has a small example of what spawn flags actually are and how to set them : **[Entity.HasSpawnFlags

sorry but im still having no luck
[lua]
fires= ents.Create(“env_fire”)
fires:SetKeyValue(“health”,60)
fires:SetKeyValue(“Start On”,“true”)
fires:SetKeyValue(“Start Disabled”,“false”)
fires:SetKeyValue(“Start On”,“true”)
fires:SetKeyValue(“firesize”,32)
–fires:SetKeyValue()
fires:SetPos(vec+(angles:Up()*100))
fires:Spawn()
[/lua]
