This map was created for the "GameBanana/CEVO mapping competition 2014”.

Designed for competitive mode.

Some terrorists want to cause chaos by blowing up the subway entrance and its safety exit.

Hi, I released my third map. I tried my best to bring up a fresh and balanced gameplay. It took me 150 hours to create the map.
The custom textures are all (except one) made by others. Credits at the end.

like the name,
overall, a little too much different colors in the textures, and a bit to much sharp edges,
sites looks like they are a fairly close to each other, perhaps move A to where Alley/backalley is,

Your lighting looks very black and white. You should add some color to the ambience and brightness. Give the scene a little emotional work, make it easier on the eyes.

The overall geometry of the map is not very detailed either. You have a lot of flat geometry that doesn’t look very well. CS:GO has some higher requirements from their user’s computer. Go ahead and add some of those pretty details, extra models, ect…

I also feel like your map may benefit from another skybox. The one you currently have, looks blown out, and not very natural.

Thanks all! I will increase the detail.
I got an old graphic card that’s why I haven’t detailed it that much.

About the flat geometry, I used the maximum number of blocks. I try to merge some together so I can use more. And I used the maximum number of overlays.

But I try my best to increase the details.

And about the skybox. I don’t know whether I change it or not. Because the new skybox would need the sun at the same place. Because of the fall of the shadow. It is implemented in the gameplay. You can see the shadow from players at some places before you can see him.

This looks nice (it’d be great to address the issues other posters mentioned) and I like it, just it doesn’t fit Counter Strike theme at all…

I think it’s quite nice and detailed, I would change the skybox thought but it’s really just my opinion.

Update! The map is now finished.

Layout looks too CT sided and a few things don’t make sense. Visuals are a bit wonky as well, a lot of stuff colliding with each other. There are paths that lead to the same place, which ultimately just adds confusion and won’t help pace at all.
