Cubemap Texture

So, basically, I can’t use the Cubemap texture. When I do, it comes out as black. I know it doesn’t work on some maps as the maps don’t have the texture or something, so…
Is there any way to get the texture in? maybe with Hammer or something?
or, what maps use the texture?

Lasers from, well, the laser tool can bounce off of things with the cubemap texture, which is basically why i’d like to use it x3

Also, I have downloaded garry’s mod from steam, and have seen that this appears to be an old problem. Which I can’t find a solution to. Thus it still plagues me x.x

Cubemaps are built into the map, or not, as the case may be.

I’m aware of this. Thus my asking if there is any way to shove them in, with, say, Hammer.
Or, what good, gm_construct - like maps, are there that have the cubemap texture?

I’m not sure if the command buildcubemaps will help.

(I’m assuming this is a console command >.>)

Current mod isn't in a subdirectory of "game"!
Cube map buffer size 1024 x 1024 is bigger than screen!
Run at a higher resolution! or reduce your cubemap resolution (needs 4X)
