When I try to build cubemaps on my maps, they dont write to the .bsp. I check with pakrat after to be sure and sure enough, no cubemap textures are created. I’ve tried numerous fixes, starting with the fresh compiled version of the map every time:
-deleting default cubemap textures (not materials) with pakrat
-renaming the map
-both of the above
-restarting gmod after loading the map the first time
-setting maps in garrysmod/garrysmod to not be read-only

Anyone have a fix? Also extra notes. When I load the map file initially and any time after, I dont get the overexposed specular surfaces you normally get when cubemaps are normally missing.
