Custom MOTD not hooking correctly

What I am trying to do is call my MOTD derma every time a player spawns.

Here is my code for calling the MOTD:

function Loadmotd( Ply )
Ply:RunConsoleCommand(“colz_motd”);
end
hook.Add( “PlayerSpawn”, “Loadmotd”, Loadmotd )

What am I doing wrong? Help would be appreciated.

RunConsoleCommand isn’t a method from the Player class.

In other words,
[lua]function Loadmotd( Ply )
ply:ConCommand(“colz_motd”);
end
hook.Add( “PlayerSpawn”, “Loadmotd”, Loadmotd )
[/lua]
