Custom Sound in a Map

I was wanting to put music in my map for a radio I have in there. I’ve put songs into my map before and they worked…exept they made the BSP too large and it could not upload to Garrysmod.org.

Can someone help me with fixing this? I use Audacity to convert my sound files. Can someone tell me how to get it to the lowest sound quality possible?

are they .wav files or mp3 s?

i heard only .wav s work.

Both work. Just send the map as an addon with a sound\ folder

Mp3 works fine, but you can’t preview it in hammer. It works in-engine tho, and you can also pack it into the BSP. Well, it worked for me at least.
