Custom textures not receiving dynamic shadows

As the title says. In game my custom textures are not receiving shadows from props or whatsoever. Although the shadows generated by VRAD are cleary visible. Screenshot:

Does anyone know how to solve this?

You should compare your VMT file with the VMT that does cast shadows.
That’s probably it.

Eye catching diffrence is “$translucent” 1. Those are put in my VMT’s by vtfedit.

Removing it fixed the problem
