Customize NPC's HP

I don’t know if you can do this in any easy way, or if it is already done. if so send link to me :slight_smile:

I would like some kind of tool that gives the NPC another amount of HP so it will be a bit harder to kill him, would be awesome if someone could help me fix something like that!

You could just use **[Entity.SetHealth](**

I don’t know why people haven’t found this yet.
•Go into your garrysmod/garrysmod directory
•Go into your cfg folder
•Open the skill.cfg with notepad
•Look for the NPC that you want to change its health, such as combine.

// Combine Soldier
sk_combine_s_health		"40"
sk_combine_s_kick		"10"

•Change the number to a higher or lower number
Viola! You’ve just changed an NPC’s health!

No, you can’t…That only works on things like SNPCs, players, and SEnts…even if you could hes in the Request section, so correct me if I’m wrong OP but I’m pretty sure he doesn’t know Lua.

Well, that would increase the health of every npc you chanced the value for. Not fun! :stuck_out_tongue:

Instead, download NPC control 2.0.1. Now you can have your normal weak ass combine and at the same time have your super killing soldier who can take five rocket blasts (and cast grenades if you please)! :stuck_out_tongue:

you dont have to go and modify the .cfg folder, you can modify all hl2 npcs’ health and damage in game by using the console. to change combine soldier hp is sk_combine_s_health # in the console.
