Hello Everybody and Welcome to the DarkRP Help thread.
This forum covers everything related to DarkRP.

This is the list of things that you can help others or get help from.

  1. Lua=this includes HUD’S, lua errors, and lua code.

  2. Jobs=generally just creating jobs and improving them.

  3. Addons=you can ask about addons that improve DarkRP this includes cars, sweeps, and ect…

  4. Modules= you can ask about how to make modules or help, you can also link people modules.
    P.S Please tell people where to put the code if you post some. I see too many people having to ask where do I put this.
    This is the list of things that are not allowed on the thread.

  5. Server Ads=please don’t post ads for your server here this is a HELP thread.

  6. Paying for code=please don’t charge money for any code on this forum it’s helping not selling.

I have this problem on my darkrp server were when I pocket a shipment, it still is technically in the same spot I pocketed it. It is just invisible and I can hit ‘e’ on the spot where I pocketed the shipment, and the weapon will spawn. Does anyone know what is the fix for this. Sorry it isn’t the best explanation.

It’s with every entity, that’s how pocket handles them, it makes them invisible, but they still collide and are useable.

(You should change the thread picture to LUA…)
Anyway, I would need some to make printers visible for users but they can’t use it if they are not in the VIP group.
I have this code

THAT is for jobs, how do I make it for entities?

But then if I use customCheck inside the entity it will spam errors, lol…
Why not just do the same inside this: https://github.com/FPtje/DarkRP/blob/master/gamemode/client/showteamtabs.lua#L613
but edit the code so it fits to the entities? :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh you want the client to see the entity even if they can’t buy it?

Have some examples, these should work:

Also, I just pushed an update to DarkRP in which you can change the message it sends to the player when they try to get something they can’t get.

Here’s a full example:

Uhh, I noticed this asked for ‘Jobs’ as well.

I’m asking someone to do a Job for me…
I need a custom scoreboard, because no offense to Falco or Drake, the replacement one is shit.
I’ve got a base code for one already if that helps, but I need stuff changing on it.
The guy says no payment, but tbh, you can’t get anyone to do a job for you without payment, so discuss on steam about that… Add me on steam for further discussion.

He meant jobs, like DarkRP jobs… Mayor etc. Creating custom jobs.

I just don’t like it…I would have FAdmin, but every time I rejoin my server, my rank is reset. When I set my rank back, it isnt the full rank, so I have to stay with ULX and a bad scoreboard :confused:

Setting myself as Superadmin with FAdmin fixed that for me.
