Decompiled L4D Helicopter

I just need the helicopter from Left 4 Dead decompiled. Specifically the one seen in No Mercy. My friend and I have both tried and neither of us could get it to decompile.

If you can’t get it to decompile, you could always try out Noesis. It supports a vast amount of model formats and it’s likely to work with 95% of Source models.

Well we did get it to decompile.

Unfortunately it broke. And by broke I mean it was only two faces.

Why do you decompile?

Just import the model into maya and then export as smd

Unfortunately, not everyone uses Maya. Nor is everyone willing to use it (I’ve tried to use it, but I honestly can’t stand the program).

Maya is amazing. What are you talking about?

Ends there.

Can someone just upload the helicopter decompiled for me? If it means anything, it’s for a CSGO map.

I couldn’t stand the layout when I tried to use it, it’s too cluttered and unorganized imho. However, everyone has their own opinions on things and that’s all that needs to be said on that matter.

I’ll take a look and see what I can do.

Uhh…I went ahead and got it decompiled for you, but I’m honestly going to say…are you sure you want this crappy little thing?

I’m pretty sure there are some way better models that you could use on instead of this. It’s your call though, so I’ll leave it to you to decide.

You got the wrong model, brother. It’s:

OR the L4D2 Dark Carnival one which I forgot what it’s called. I think it’s c2m5_something/something. But yeah, thanks for the effort.

Well, you said L4D and mentioned the chopper from No Mercy, so I assumed you wanted the model from L4D1. I didn’t see the first one you mentioned at all.

I’ll see about getting the copper from Dark Carnival, though.

So I guess no update then?

Is it a Huey?

If so, there’s one from L4D in this pack.

Except we need animations so that it flies away.

Sorry, I’ve been swamped with other things lately and haven’t really been able to work on getting the model. I’ll try and get it decompiled and upload it here shortly.
