Didn't take long, the hacking is back.

Player named “Rambo” on US Central (regular server with sleepers) is flying around and no clipping into bases. How do I report him on Steam? Anyone reading this should also report him.

Really disappointed to see this happening again so soon.

(User was banned for this post ("missed the hackers thread" - postal))

Hacking never left.

Not sure what good it’ll do but you can click Shift-tab then view players, find his name, hit the more option and report for the offense.

Shift tab isn’t working in game for me, doesn’t bring up a list of players.

it won’t bring up a list of players, on the left hand side of the screen you’ll see an option for “View Players” or something of the sort

Didn’t Garry say it was protected by the VAC ban system?

Here’s how VAC bans work to my knowledge:

When you alter the gameplay using external clients, VAC picks this up but does not immediately take action. Instead, the VAC system flags your account for a while, and THEN bans you later for cheating. This way, people can’t see immediately is a hack is “detectable” or not.

In other words, if a player is cheating now and there is a VAC anti-cheat system in place, then smile. Soon their entire Steam account and Rust key will be pretty much worthless when it comes to online play.

Let’s just hope you’re right.

Found him here. Here’s his info. Report him and blow up his account with comments. Mr. Garrett Goodwin

How to report.

Click the More button on upper right hand corner of players profile. Report Violation.

State the reason

This guy needs to go too, reported.

Are we even certain that it’s protected by VAC?

I thought this was planned for the future.

Either way, hackers will run rampant until the bans start to occur.

Just wait it out.

Holy shit it’s a real website with obviously fake as fuck hacks like “developers mod”. How stupid can you be?

lol Loyal facepunch member.

This is his other profile BTW. I have seen him using both on the East server hacking and promoting his hacks.

Heh, same guy. Check out the whois lookup on the registrant for rusthacks.net. Guy isn’t too bright.

I truly hope he sees this

There are multiple people using the name batman now and promoting hacks. But that is all fake information, the owner of that domain is someone else.
