I am trying to disable collision between a player and “worldspawn” for a project I am working on. Is there any way of doing this? I have tried “ShouldCollide” but it never gets called between the player and the world. I have tried just about everything else… Is there any way to get around what seems to be set-in-stone physics between players and the world?
I was gonna say:
player:SetCollisionGroup( GROUP )
But I couldn’t find a group that says exactly what you wanted ( http://maurits.tv/data/garrysmod/wiki/wiki.garrysmod.com/index4389.html#COLLISION_GROUP )
I actually tried all of those groups… Even doing “ply:SetSolid(SOLID_NONE)” doesn’t stop the play from colliding…
what about making a custom movetype?
The idea is making a noclip with gravity that doesn’t allow flight, right?
