I am planning to create a custom weapon select HUD for my gamemode, but ended up with the following problem.
I used the “HUDShouldDraw”-Hook to disable the weapon select HUD, but am now unable to switch weapons ingame.
I tried enabling fastswitch, but didn’t fix it.
Is there a simple workaround or do I have to implement my own functions for switching the users weapon?
Looking forward to hearing suggestions.
In combination with the HUDShouldDraw hook to hide the weapon HUD, use PlayerBindPress to override the slot commands, like slot1, slot2 etc.
Look at TTT gamemode, they did it in there
