I’m trying to get a stupid model into 3dsmax and I can decompile everything fine but texturing the model is pissing me off, it doesnt texture anywhere near properly
Valve supplied the source models for TF2. They are located in:
“steamname”/sourcesdk_content/tf/modelsrc/player/“class”/parts/dmx, maya, or smd.
I am assuming you need to download Source SDK first to create these.
As for the textures, you can find them in steamapps/team fortress 2.gcf. You are going to need GCFScrape to extract the textures.
