Does CUserCmd have any mousewheel functionality?

The documentation of CUserCmd on the gmod wiki is really lacking, but I would like to modify the mousewheel state. Does anyone know how this can be done? Thanks

As far as I know, this can’t be done. Generally speaking, mousewheel driven events in Source (such as the physics gun) are done in sort of hacky ways.

While i am not completely sure about the Phys-gun, mouse-scrolling in general is done client side only and then when you click (for changing weapon) it calls “use <weaponname>”

I know various gamemodes where scrolling controls the players view, like in thirdperson etc. How is this done?

that or that playerbindpress hook with invup or invdown or something as the keys. either one works
