Drawing/rendering props on a single player/client

I’m trying to make a pre-show blueprint thing, sort of like the Engineer in TF2, but I can’t get the entity to visible to the single client only.

I’ve tried ents.CreateClientProp, so any suggestions or help?

Just create a ClientsideModel on the client and keep a reference variable pointing to it, render it while you’re placing it by using SetRenderOrigin, SetRenderAngles, SetupBones, DrawModel. If you cancel placing it, remove that ClientsideModel.

For the wireframe effect, simply ClientsideModelReference:SetMaterial( “debug/debugwireframe.vmt” ).

Once you decide to place it, send the data to the server so the entity can be created, then you remove the ClientsideModel.
