Dynamic Shadows.

Hello, Facepunch forum, I’ve come across a feature that I wanted to get named Dynamic Shadows, I’ve went through a guide thread and video, both of them didn’t work for me. Am I doing something wrong? If someone may please help me.

Dynamic shadows depend on how powerful your system is and if it is capable of running it.

Post your specs!

Your shadow settings need to be set at highest for it to work.

and I also want to say that I used to have Dynamic Shadows in the past, until I re-installed windows (I suppose) and when I had a weaker Graphics Card

If you had it in the past then surely it’s the drivers. If you like, test it with a Beta driver from nVidia and see how it goes.

Make sure your shadows and shader quality are set to high in video settings.

I have the latest version of the drivers, I’ve updated them like a week ago :s

they are :\

Don’t bother, wether you get the good settings or not the shadows are still permafucked.

Although for the record if you haven’t found them, the following codes help.
r_projectedtexture_filter 0.1
r_flashlightdepthres 8192
