Elevator doors

I’m trying to make an elevator, and I was wondering if theres a way to make the doors on the outside of the elevator (the ones on the floor), and the ones inside the elevator to open when they are in front of eachother, and close when they are not (like a real elevator)?

Use trigger_multiple entities and fire if its not touching or touching to control the door inputs.

Alternatively, just have the door’s “Close after x seconds” thing set to the number you’d like, and have it just close automatically that way, and have the button open the doors again if needed to.

I’m not sure what elevators have automatically opening doors, but that’s just me.

I’d have to go into hammer (It’s covered in dust) and experiment with an elevator to reproduce your desired effect, but until you want to try harder than I do, looks like you’re stuck having an open door button.
