Enforcing models and setting models

I’m starting my own little gamemode and the teams i set up work fine except for the models. They come up as kliener after I use ply:SetModel( “models/player/Group03/male_09.mdl” ) or something such as that. What I’m wonder is what do i need to do to make sure it works and also how to disable the ability for you to change your model in the model menu in options


A few things… First if you don’t need the spawnmenu and other sandbox only stuff I suggest you derive your gamemode from base instead. To make your clients have a certain model set it in the PlayerSpawn gamemode hook or something similar. It has to be serverside so init.lua would be a nice place to put it. Other then that we might need more details to assist you further.
