ent:SetRenderMode(RENDERMODE_TRANSALPHA)?

I am trying to make a prop’s alpha 200 while physgunning. This is what I have.



local r,g,b,a = ent:GetColor()
ent:SetColor(r,g,b,200)
ent:SetRenderMode(RENDERMODE_TRANSALPHA)


However it isn’t doing anything. I know that is being run properly because the ent:SetCollisionGroup(COLLISION_GROUP_WORLD) above it works just fine.

							local col = ent:GetColor()
							ent:SetColor( Color( col.r, col.g, col.b, 200 ) )
							ent:SetRenderMode(RENDERMODE_TRANSALPHA)
