Entity sounds

How could i make an entity emit a sound and make it loop from a sound file within the addon.

use wire, slap a sounder emitter on it with an e2 to control it. BAM done ingame and would work in MP too.

I actually want to know how to make a SENT have the looping sound.

self:EmitSound(“soundpath”)
Make sure the sound is actually loopable - it has a specific start and end que points in the file.

Wow thanks. Also, when i put the sound I want to play in the addon/sounds folder, it says file missing from disk?

Is the sound path correct in your lua?

It was actually with a swep and it might have possibly been wrong but thanks anyway
