found, do i put
[lua]
require(“luaerror”)

lua_showerrors = CreateConVar(“lua_showerrors”, 1)

hook.Add(“LuaError”, “LE”, function(err) --Return anything other than nil to stop the standard error display
local var = lua_showerrors:GetInt()
if (var == 0) then
return false
elseif (var == 1)
Msg(err)

		return false
	end

end )
[/lua]
in autorun?

autorun/client

why would you need this, you should fix your errors?

What’s saying it’s his stuff erroring?
What’s saying he even has the knowledge to fix errors?

And fact is that there are plenty of addons out there erroring without actually being broken in a functionality aspect, and the creators of many of these have dropped development and will never fix the errors.

i assumed it was his, being this the lua scripting section and not requests. Sorry about that then.

um slight problem i have this code in my servers autorun/client folder

AddCSLuaFile( “autorun/client/noerror.lua” )

require(“luaerror”)

lua_showerrors = CreateConVar(“lua_showerrors”, 1)

hook.Add(“LuaError”, “LE”, function(err) --Return anything other than nil to stop the standard error display
local var = lua_showerrors:GetInt()
if (var == 0) then
return false
elseif (var == 1)
Msg(err)

		return false
	end

end )

but errors are still showing up :S

anyone help?

Did you type lua_showerrors 0 in the console?

Unknown command: lua_showerrors
and also will this not work for the clients?
