Explosions causing crashes on Prop Hunt server.

Hello, I set up an Enhanced Prop Hunt server (Wolvin’s edited version), and we have a recurring issue. Every once in a while, as someone launches a grenade or rpg, as it explodes, people get kicked and their Gmod crashes (this has happened to me). This is what is shown:


TwistedDragon felt guilty for hurting so many innocent props and committed suicide
TwistedDragon suicided!
Dropped Shlub from server (Shlub timed out)
DEAD TwistedDragon: SHIT
Dropped Unlit Candle from server (Unlit Candle timed out)
Dropped evancastro77 from server (evancastro77 timed out)
Dropped Snæringur from server (Disconnect by user.)
DEAD TwistedDragon: I'm dead

Whenever it happened to me:


Spybot suicided!
STEAMAUTH: Client [ZBC] Sir Knightwalker received failure code 6
Dropped [ZBC] Sir Knightwalker from server (Client left game (Steam auth ticket has been canceled)
)
Dropped Sevan_7777 from server (Sevan_7777 timed out)
Dropped [A-E-G]Hyper from server ([A-E-G]Hyper timed out)
CreateFragmentsFromFile: 'user_custom/3f/3f094fdc.dat' doesn't exist.
CreateFragmentsFromFile: 'user_custom/3f/3f094fdc.dat' doesn't exist.
CreateFragmentsFromFile: 'user_custom/3f/3f094fdc.dat' doesn't exist.
CreateFragmentsFromFile: 'user_custom/3f/3f094fdc.dat' doesn't exist.

I don’t know what is causing it, but I do know the people it kicks is always random. The server does not normally show an error, so I’m at a loss. Can any of you shed some light on this?

Post .mdmp files from those crashes, otherwise there’s literally nothing to be done.

The .mdmp needs to be from the latest version of the game. But I have an idea of what this might be, it’s probably this: https://github.com/Facepunch/garrysmod-issues/issues/2931

So to fix this, I’d advise you/your addons start using Material() over surface.GetTextureID, or otherwise do not call surface.GetTextureID on non existent materials.
