Faceposer isn't rebuilding scenes.image

I hope this is the correct forum to ask this in. Google isn’t helping me.

When I use hlfaceposer.exe inside “…steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\bin” and hit File > Rebuild scenes.image… , no scenes.image file is being generated despite there being eight in total inside my “…Half-Life 2\hl2\scenes” folder (two custom ones and the choreoexamples folder). I got this work before but I guess I (or the program, bless the steampipe update and everything it broke) forgot how to actually do this.

This is what the output (“status”) window tells me:

It finds the scenes, then tosses them in the trash every time. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

yeeeeeaaaaah this is for hammer editor aka mapping (hence the name).

might wanna try the modding forum for this before the admins come.

I couldn’t find a modding forum. If there is one, I’d be happy if a mod could move this thread there.

I’ve ran into this same problem, and have not a clue as to how to fix this. Did you ever end up finding a solution? My apologies for asking the same question again, and perhaps defib-ing a dead thread.
