Fading Wall?

Can someone help me? I want to make an effect which requires a solid wall, which then fades away so it turns invisible with a trigger. Is it possible, and if it is, what entity would be best for it.

You can set its view distance.

Func_lod is the only brush based entity that can fade away. Use it.

Nevermind. I found a better method that I will be using.

Did you want to make the wall fade away at distance, or up close? I’ve been trying to make a wall fade away when you get near it (like an areaportalwindow but without the areaportal), so if you figured out how to do this please share!
