Failed FEV Experiment

So I’m porting this model to garrysmod and I would port a big Fallout 3 creature pack if I learn how to make proper QCs.
This is how the model looks, I have all the reference, collision and skeleton files done.

Now this QC is probably so horribly wrong that your eyes will hurt looking at it but please try to.

The model appears like a untextured gelly prop without bendable limbs.
If you can please help me just fix my qc I will ofcourse credit you in the release and do everything you want (I don’t accept giving blowjobs but you get the idea).

Well considering that you barely have any bone lines in your .QC, that might be your problem with the unbendable limbs. You can also just take out the LOD lines. Go decompile a HL2 ragdoll and look in the .QC.

And about the HL2 ragdoll thing, this QC is originally from a HL2 Citizen and I didn’t want to remove stuff that I didn’t know what it was.
You wouldn’t know a fast way of making bone lines?

Is that from Pointe Lookout? I don’t remember seeing it in the regular game.

It’s in Vault 87s test chambers.
Vanilla Fallout 3.

I remember my first playthrough and thinking “oh god do I have to fight those?”

I hope the port is successful, Shame it was only a corpse ragdoll in-game.

It would be succesful if I can find out how to make a QC for the ragdoll.

If it uses the citizen bones, you can use the citizen bone lines from the .QC.

Remember, this is if you used the citizen skeleton.

Thanks but how do I generate these lines for my own skeleton?

I asked luigimario about this and he says you have to use HL model viewer in the physics tab. If anyone could explain this better it would be helpful, as I have the same problem as the OP. (Though I may have problems with it due to the fact my HL model viewer, if it even turns on without crashing, wont load half my stuff and if it does displays no model just the info).

I get this when I try to generate the QC from the bones tab:

The Physics tab just won’t copy any text at all… I have no idea why.
Also, what do I need to write in my QC for it to apply my texture to the model? What’s currently in the QC just doesn’t seem to do it.
