"File not found" everytime I compile the map

Every time I try to compile my simple map, I come across this frustrating error… It says

"The command failed. Windows reported the error:
“The system cannot find the file specified.”

Any idea how to fix this?

Remove the " . " from the filename. calle is dfn1_01.vmf instead.

Tried that, same thing happened D: Any other ideas?

I get the impression the .vmf is corrupt. Find the location of your .vmf and look for a file with the same name but the .vmx extension. Take this and rename it to somethingelse.vmf, open that and see what you have (it’s a backup copy of your map), try compiling that.

Now I know your steam account name.
