finger rotation issues

so i’m working on an engineer port from blr

but the fingers are really weird, they only rotate when i take off remove axis restriction and when i don’t they only go sideways, how do i fix that?

Rotate the finger bones by 90 degrees and make sure they are following the fingers.


alright, but, that’s pretty tricky when the children of the bones follow the bone i move

Disconnect all those fingerbones from each other, then rotate either individually or select all of them somehow and rotate them all at once from their individual pivot points (In 3ds Max, if that is what you are using, something to do with selecting all the bones after disconnecting them and then going to hierarchy>pivot>affect pivot only>reset pivot) or so.
