Hey guys, I am currently working with a nice map, gm_darkgrass, it’s like, totally dark, and I want to light something up with fire, but, fire doesn’t cast light, is it possible to create a light, if you use the igniting tool? Would be awesome.
Not sure about this, but as far as I know, lights are created when the map is compiled, and they can’t be created after, with the exception of env_lightglow, but even that doesn’t really cast light.
Just use the light tool, colour it orange, and stick it to something that’s ignited. It’ll look like the fire is producing the light, if you weld and hide the light really well.
And use the color tool to make it invisible.
And we should just ignore the fact that this is the lua request section?
