Fixed Spread?

Okay, I’m pretty new to lua and I’ve never made a Garry’s mod game mode, but I’ve tried for about 2 weeks and all I’ve got is the Y axis to work on a fixed spread, Can someone help me?

What? Can you explain what are you trying to do?

I’m trying to create a simple SWEP that has fixed spread kinda like tf2’s so it’s on the x and y axis of your aim, I thought it would be simpler :drool:

I’m not really sure what you mean by it being only on the X and Y axis since I’ve never really made a SWEP, but (if you are talking about the spread of the bullets):

What are you doing to create bullets? I don’t know much about SWEPs, but

Entity:FireBullets takes a table that has a Spread arg- “The spread, only x and y are needed”

I want to make bullets go at an angle from the gun, but they have to be set and not random, sorry if I’m really bad at explaining this

Well, if you are actually using FireBullets, then try just setting the spread to be Vector( 0, 0, 0 ) and the Dir (the fire direction) to be a vector other than 0, 0, 0 and see if it goes in a different direction…
