Fixing faceposing - Two faces

I’ve recently made my first foray into faceposing, and it works for the most part - except that whenever a flex is used, the default face is still present. The flexes go from frame 1 to frame 15, and I applied a smoothing group to the face so it wouldn’t be blocky from 3DS Max’s exporting. What am I doing wrong?

Do you have a bodygroup or something with 2 face meshes? Go check. Import the SMD.

Well, I feel silly. I forgot to remove his head from the hat bodygroup. Thanks.
