This is the release of my first map, fm_pillars

It has 9 pillars and is blocked off into 4 sections. (I nick-named it “The Clover”)

It is small for close quarters combat.

Dont use the “its my first map dont say bad things about it.” that doesnt work here.
reasons for :ughh:
blocky.
unoriginal.
Lighting? doesnt look like it
horrible texturing
no cubemaps, its a water map for gods sake.
no detail
Not the worst first map ive seen, but it needs a lot of work

I can’t say it sucks, you at least put some effort in it .
Lighting seems okay. But overall, this has nothing of value to anyone.

Did you delete it or something? It’s no longer on the Garrysmod.org.

Why are the walls and pillars untextured? Or dev textured I guess…

I didn’t say “its my first map dont say bad things about it.” I said, “this is my first map so no flaming if you don’t like it please!” There is a difference you know. What you did (laptopman) was helpful criticism. Thank you.

This is not good because of the orange and gray no texture textures.

Dev textures don’t necessarily make it a bad map.
