I’ll be voting for teshok. The architecture is fine, and texture work is fabulous. I really like the art style you approached there. You have my vote.

I love the style, and fantastic lighting, both really strong features of the map. But not really much of a house I think…
The design is pretty traditional, and fits the theme perfectly(Did you use any reference images? I’m curious) but doesn’t really give the feeling of being a unique house design, just an Egyptian monument.

BatIgor

You went for some unique textures with your map, but I think you could’ve chosen better ones, I would’ve suggested aligning the textures to fit with the brush faces they’re on. Some of the inside ones on the inside are really different and stylised. The lighting let this map down for me however, it didn’t match the skybox outside, and didn’t really compliment the structure at all. Inside is really well lit though, but isn’t really as necessarily important in the contest.

Teshok

You got my vote, a positively stunning design, with some really complimentary texture work. Some of the furniture looked a bit rushed in areas, but as I said, it isn’t really important. The lighting is really bright and really brings the house to life, the light just seems to work perfectly with the building, and I honestly can’t fault the map.

Miigga

You clearly spent some time on the design of this map, The brushwork is really well done, and doesn’t take away from the design by being to complex. Texturing fits the theme very well, but some of the details and façades could have had a little more time taken choosing fitting textures. But your choice to brighten the lighting brought the map together, whoever suggested that had the right idea. It does however cause a few lighting errors on some corners, it seems like you made the brick cornerstones into models, which don’t have the same lighting, and seem lit in dark areas, a minor realism detail which always gets me. All in all, well made, I would’ve put you in a close second place.

I went with the egyptian one for uniqueness. I liked the others but I coudln’t decide whether I liked the mansion or the round one more. Umm, does anyone want to donate their house for my RP map? (I’d def.put your name in the credits and stuff.)

Sorry, but no. I ran into some problems with that and releasing it would require much more of a hassle than it is worth.

No, no reference images. I just made what I felt like making. I started about 3-4 houses before this, but I just didn’t like how they turned out. The current one was done on 7 May, in approximately 5 hours.

No I gave him one cause I was feeling so bad for him. I imagined him sitting in his room going… “oohp… that’s a vote for miigga… oohp that’s a vote for radu… I’m sure mine are coming soon too.” But I also think that many people will just look past his map cause it’s just linked images and nobody bothers with reading threads, so they’re just scrolling down for the images.
