FPS caps at 60 only on my map, and for multiple people

Hi, I’m wondering if anyone has ever experienced this before; having a map that they made and everyone that plays it complains about having 60 fps. I’m not worried since 60 frames is the max amount you can see with your eyes, but I’d like to find out how to increase it.

For those who are wondering, I optimized with areaportals. Also, a lot of what you see is func_detail, as in a lot of the outside is composed of func_detail.

EDIT: forgot to mention that its a TF2 map, don’t try running it on Gmod

v-sync disabled?

Tell them to quit whining, if they get 60 fps that’s good.

I have a feeling that you’ve got a 60Hz monitor, and have never seen anything with a higher refresh rate.

But yeah, is v-sync disabled?

Checked in both Garry’s Mod and TF2, screencaps are in respective order.

Turned my v-sync setting from “1” to “0” and now I get well over 60, but it still doesn’t explain why it only happens to my map
