Gamemode Problem

My gamemode doesn’t seem to work. I don’t understand why, as I see no errors in my work. Its just in the beginning stages and when I go into garrys mod to test it, it always goes to sandbox.

I don’t understand whats wrong with it. Could someone help?

Becuse you have put it to be sandbox in the gamemode. its your gamemode, but your gamemode dosent magically do what you want by itself! you gotta script it, you derive from sandbox and isnt modifying anything

ok so if i take out the DeriveGamemode( “sandbox” ) part it should work?

Well i deleted it from there and tried to test it again but its the same problem.

It does what its supposed to do, your not doing ANYTHING in there, and deriving sandbox so observiously theres no problem at all

In a few words: it looks like sandbox because it is sandbox.

Have you made any files that would affect the gamemode in any way?

I know I don’t have anything in there yet, because like I said its beginning stages, and all I have in there is strip weapons and add a crowbar.

And no, all I have is those 3 files in my gamemode.
