Gamemode reload issues

Parts of my gamemode rely on setup that is performed when the gamemode is initialised:

function GM:Initialize()

When it is reloaded, the tables that have been setup are reset without the GM:Initialize() function being called again. Does Garry’s Mod execute a function when the gamemode has been reloaded?

I’ve had a look here yet have not found anything that I think would work.

Gamemode_reload reloads is basically like starting a new game. Everything is reset. This is just how it works.

I am almost positive GM:Initialize gets called… but if not:
