Garry's Mod addons not working

I have this problem for two months now, people have told me to wait for a week, re-install my addons but it had no change at all
Once i was in Half life 2 roleplay and it started to download my addons, i got exited but then wen i restarted my gmod, all my addons were gone again.
Wen i join servers i see errors even thou i have downloaded the addons.
I don’t know what to do, so i came here for help

It’s a Steam problem, contact Steam Support. When they reply, tell us what they said, I am quite interested in what they will say.

Sure man

[2 MONTHS ago] I made the same thing for steam support but they replied with this
Please exit Steam and go to the folder called C:\Program Files\Steam\ (this is the default location for a Steam installation - if you set a different installation directory, you will need to browse to it).

Delete all of the files in this folder except:

  • \Steamapps\ and \Userdata\ folders

  • Steam.exe (this file is listed as an application and features the black and white Steam logo)

Restart your computer.

Then, launch Steam.exe from within the Steam installation folder, and not from a pre-existing shortcut.

With Steam running, re-test the original issue.

Note: This process will not affect your currently installed games.

(they replied with that on one of my older questions)

Did it help?

Thats why i posted it here, i dont know if do it or not

Well trying won’t hurt. It definitely won’t remove your installed games, etc, and will just yield you a clean Steam installation.

If you do not get a solution from steam support use “gaddons”

Problem is the steam is installed in the C: but i got my gmod installed in D: because i changed the place where my gmod was to test it if it works

Contact Steam Support, it’s their problem. If you do find a working fix, post it.
