Getting Max Health

How do I get the MaxHealth of the local player client side? Trying to make a health bar.

The maximum health of a player seems to be set serverside and only serverside, so you’d have to use a usermessage to send the information to the player.

umsg.Start( “maxhealth”, ply )
umsg.Short( ply:GetMaxHealth() )

Would be best to send this usermessage after you use ply:SetMaxHealth() and after InitialSpawn

or if you’re not using any other max health other than 100, just use the number 100.

ply:Health() = Health of player.
