Features

Q: Wasn’t this created before?
Yes, there was an old thread that (as far as I know no long exsists. This is not affiliated with them

Q: What are the items like?
Examples:
Shattering SMG of The Spammer
Awesome Flame SMG of Haste
Poison Pistol of Smiting

Q: Do you need help?
Right now I really need HUD/Derma coders and effect coders.

Q: Will this be public?
As much as I support making everything public, this will not be for one main reason:
Servers will popup with highrate/free everything and people will simply miss out on alot of the hard created work (low level quests, items, etc).
WoW Private servers are a prime example.

I believe, you do that in a weapon’s clientside script, if you are talking about the weapon selection thingy:

It’s a DModelPanel or cam.Start3D which basically does the same thing.

You only really need to know two console commands:
giablo_startdungeon <1/2 difficulty> will start a dungeon if you are a party leader.

giablo_resetdundun will reset the dungeon if you die or screw up.

If it says “Your map differs from the servers map” delete your current map and reconnect.

^^ What he said. Also, no longer open for public testing. I’m working on it right now. If you don’t mind constant restarts and such feel free to come though.

I’m just curious, in the future are you going to host the server, or are you planning on paying for a server.

As soon as I think the gamemode is stable enough to run on its own I will purchase a dedicated server, 8 slots. If it becomes popular enough I will of course get a larger one.

Me and Elijah were the original creators of the first Giablo, but it never went anywhere. Glad to see someone is making some progress.

Can I have a go at mapping for this? It would be my first go at mapping for a non Sandbox gamemode, so I’ll need a little info. An example would be good, I learn from that most of the time. This is gonna be fun .Excited:D
