'Glowing' Player Models?

Weird little issue I’ve run into, no matter what Player Model I use, It always seems to ‘glow’;

It’s not a major issue, but If I get up close to a Prop/Rag/NPC or even a wall, they totally ‘bleach’ out from the ‘Glow’; which also negates the Flash-light.
Anyone have any ideas how to resolve this?

Pretty sure this has something to do with cubemaps, and I’m not really sure how to fix it either, could be a Source Engine thing.

I was working on a Metro RP server before, and the NPC’s in the tunnels would always glow, despite there being absolutely no source of light in them. I’m not sure if this is something you can get around.

Unless what you’re talking about is a lot more extreme of a degree than what I’m used to seeing…
