What was the problem and how did you solve it, it would be helpful for future reference and it might be the bug I’m having.

It involved using an if/else statement under this function. No matter the result, the spawn menu would be enabled.
For example:

no matter the value of vip, the spawn menu would always be enabled.
The problem I was trying to fix by using this, I solved another way using different methods not related to this function.
