After too long in development, hopefully it was worth the wait.

HDR shot

A large open snowy map. It has a large road that can be used to drive S-cars with, and plenty of hills and trees to dodge!

-Dr. Spud: The tree branch textures I used
-Stiffy360/Planub: The mapper
-NebuLa: Guy who made Snow and Rock textures I used.
-Mr Chop/Colter: Guy who made the awesome skybox
-Progsys: The nice mountain

You May
-Decompile this map to see what I did
-Use the assets this map used as long as you give proper credit
-Redistribute as long as you give proper credit.
-Have fun

You May Not

Hope you guys enjoy!

You did a really good job with the flowing river and the road. Can’t wait to check it out in game!

dem trees

Nice work, lots of attention to making everything look natural. I’m going to be disappointed if I don’t see some servers running this.

This is the best and greatest looking road i’ve seen.

Very well done, playing it now!

// Edit, oh it bumps into the skybox at one point, thats a bit of a let down, but it’s still very good looking

Perhaps when I have more time I’ll make a road that actually loops

Any chance you compiled this with HDR or tested it for compatability with SFM? I’d be a nice addition to my map library if so.

It’s compiled in HDR, I just took LDR screenshots as I don’t really like the effect of HDR

Updated the map with With some new stuff

-Improved lighting
-added a cabin
-fixed HDR
-Fixed missing textures and models
-added some fog
-added a map icon

Not a huge fan of how bland the cabin looks, mostly the interior. It’s a sweet update, otherwise.

Looks excellent. Is it possible to have a normal download link? I’d like to use this in SFM and I hate using the GMod add on ripper.

I’ll probably upload it to SFM workshop as well.

SFM workshop doesn’t support maps right now. No idea why though.

Great map, excellent detail and nice roadwork as well .

The texture on the barn was misaligned

Great map! I love the waterfall and road much like wax wazzanator said

Man fantastic work, the landscape looks beautifully realistic. Great work!
