Repetitive textures
Fullbright
Blocky-ish

Needs lighting and a purpose. What is it for? The textures are repeating badly. If it is covering a large area, up the texture scale.

i dont use css textures mutch but if you want it so hard,

if you got a sugestion for me , just say it

I never use css textures, yet can mix it up enough to keep it interesting. You have over a hundred textures at your disposal on hl2 alone…use them, but use them wisely.

First thing to do though is add a light_environment…then work on textures. Of course it needs a purpose really.

First try I can see.

Lets see what you did wrong:

1- Textures. ugly, stretched. Repetitive, boring.
2- Layout. What the fuck is going on here? Looks disorganized, and poorly designed (like the entire map :bees:)
3- Lighting. It takes less than 5 minutes to make it not fullbright.

They’re giving you ideas, but you seem too hostile to take them seriously.

Get your own ideas…if you can’t get your own inspiration, don’t map.

Ideas for next version:
1: Put in some lights of your own to get rid of fullbright.
2: Work on texturing so that repeating textures are not as obvious.
3: Organize the map in such a way that it reflects a central theme. What do you want people to build?

Once you can fix the more basic problems, then people will look at more specific changes needed. Hope that helped.

ok , i’m making a elevator in the control room and il try to make a nukebunker where you have a big space to build, ok? il watch the textures but does somebody knows how to make a base alarm? maybe i can make a rocketsilo!

Use an ambient_generic for your alarm sounds. Don’t rush and make sure things are detailed realistically.
