Gmod Bone Problems

I’ve made a simple laser on a stand in blender. Added two bones. One is the root and the other controls the laser part. Exported the armature and model files. Compiled them, but only the root bone shows up in gmod. I compiled the same qc in sfm and both bones show up and work perfectly. Any idea why both bones don’t show up in gmod?

I think that bones are ignored if they have no assigned vertices.

Have you tried adding

$bonemerge YOUR_BONE_NAME

to your .qc?
