When I change the “host_timescale” to something like 0.3 so my movement speed is really slow, my movement is laggy but everything else is fine such as weapon animations. Same with the bullet time and physical bullets mod, when I turn on bullet time, my movement is laggy but everything else is smooth.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
I think that’s kind of the point. Like, the host slows down but the client is fine.
I think you misunderstood, I have used the bullet time mod before and everything was smooth but in slow motion, like it is supposed to be. But now, when I walk it’s shaky, almost like there is lag but everything else is smooth and in slowmotion.
Changing the host_timescale isn’t really slowing things down properly unless sv_cheats is enabled, then prediction seems to kick in.
No form of physical bullets should ever use host_timescale. It’s unnecessary.
